Authorship

Guides are published under the byline "Mesh Radio Supply Editorial". Each guide states whether it is research-based or tested, when it was published and when it was last updated.

Sources

  • Product specs cite the page they came from and the date we read it.
  • Manufacturer pages are preferred. Where we cite a retailer or a review instead, the source list says so.
  • Anything no source publishes is shown as "Not verified", never estimated.
  • We quote briefly and link. We do not copy other publishers' guides, photos or parts lists.

Choosing products

Suitability first, then evidence, then the seller's real terms and support, then total cost. Commission is never a ranking factor. A product with no affiliate program can be our top pick, with an unpaid link to the maker.

Safety and claims

  • MeshCore and Meshtastic are never presented as interoperable.
  • No range figure is published without a documented test route, heights and antennas.
  • Firmware support is never presented as US equipment authorization.
  • Radios with published output above the 15.247 limit are flagged, not recommended.
  • Mesh radio is never presented as a replacement for emergency services.

Corrections

When we fix a factual error, the guide's update history records the date and what changed. Product pages show their last reviewed date. Catalog changes, such as a product we reclassified as discontinued, are noted on the product page.

Sponsorship and samples

We have no sponsors. If we ever receive a free or discounted product, the page it appears on will say so. Paid placements, if we ever accept any, will be labeled as advertising.

Third-party names

Mesh Radio Supply is an independent publisher. References to Project NOMAD, MeshCore, Meshtastic, Amazon, Adafruit and manufacturers describe third-party products or software and do not imply sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement or authorization.
